Thanksgiving was a holiday I looked forward to, one so American it didn't make me homesick. To be honest, I can't really remember much from the meal itself. I do remember watching over this giant roasting bird in the oven, basting it and waiting for this little thingy on the side to pop up. The gravy was to die for and the potatoes were delicious. I'm sure there was stuffing and all kinds of wonderful things, but all I can remember is feeling very full at the end :) Oh, and a four day weekend!
